Thanks for the work folks do to publish these Podcasts… web-work… A/V (even when you aren’t planning to do so…). It’s great for me to catch up on missing some recent teachings, starting back on July 6 with this one.

DT: Thanks for this full, rich, deep, Biblical teaching. I love that your teaching of something as dry and boring as a church org chart is applicable to my “non-professional-Christian” job and my everyday life. This “insiders look” of church structure and an “ownership mentality” vs. an “employee mentality” hits home with me on so many levels. That’s one reason why I always appreciate your encouragement for people to find their bullseye. I have been guilty of an apathetic spirit myself; sometimes I may be in the right spot but have the incorrect perspective, other times it’s because I’m not in the right spot but I put myself there for whatever prideful reasons. I am especially challenged by your statement of saying these things are simple. So often I make “simple” things more difficult than they need to be because I don’t submit to the authority of the Bible. And then the challenge is that if I can’t do these “simple” things, how am I to do the difficult things? Thank the Lord, literally, that my salvation is not performance-based. I will be held accountable for my actions, but that is after Jesus has secured my salvation.
